Turmeric Black Pepper Tea - Aids Weight Loss & Digestion

Turmeric - the wonder spice available in Indian kitchen contains curcumin, a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory compound. Inflammation can cause a slew of health problems, so turmeric may offer several potential benefits.

Black pepper is another excellent herb to cure indigestion, cough & cold, it also helps in conditions like thyroid and weight loss. Ginger on the other hand is bound with anti-inflammatory compounds that battle free radicals and pathogens within your body.


Turmeric, ginger & black pepper blended together serves as an excellent addition to your diet.


HOW TO MAKE TURMERIC BLACK PEPPER GINGER TEA


Ingredients-

  1. 1 cup water

  2. 1/2 tsp turmeric

  3. 1 piece ginger

  4. 1/2 tsp coarsely powdered ground pepper

  5. 1/2 tsp honey

  6. 1/2 lemon


Instructions-

  1. Crush the black pepper, ginger & turmeric to form a blend.

  2. Boil 1.5 cup water in a saucepan for few minutes

  3. Add the turmeric ginger pepper blend to the saucepan and allow the herbs to cook.

  4. Once cooked, strain the tea into a tea cup and add honey to sweeten. Also, add lemon while stirring.

  5. You can also add cinnamon to it for taste.


Now the turmeric pepper tea is ready to serve!
